Servicing FAQ's
May I get additional
copies of my loan documents?
Yes. There is no charge for us to email an
electronic file to you and a small charge to copy and
send paper copies.
Can you send me paid
receipts for taxes?
Yes. We would be happy to confirm full payment
of your taxes with copy of your online tax statement or executed Tax
Lien Transfer.
When are the 1098 year-end
statements sent?
The statements are mailed to your mailing address of
record no later than February 28th.
Can I make my payment by
credit card or check card?
Not at this time. Most customers choose to
make their payments via automatic withdrawal from their bank
account.
May I change my payment
draft date or my due date?
Yes! Please contact our office at least 5
business days before your payment date.
How can I change the bank
account for my payment drafts?
You may
either provide a copy of a check from the new account,
or the following information in writing:
- Bank Name
- Account Holder Name(s)
- Account Type: Checking or Savings
- Routing Number
- Account Number
Please send this information at least 5 business days
before your scheduled payment. You can send this by regular mail, email, or fax.
If you send the information by mail or fax, please
contact us either by phone or email for confirmation.
If we receive the information by email, we will reply
and confirm the change via email.
Do you send monthly
statements?
No. However, you may request account
information at any time by emailing us at
LoanServicing@TaxEase.com or calling
214-420-5956.
For email requests, please provide the name(s) on the
loan, the loan number, and the property address.
How can I get a payoff
statement?
You may call, email, or fax your request for a
payoff statement.
Please provide the reason for the possible payoff of
your loan and an effective date. Mortgage
lenders requesting payoffs should provide a signed and dated written authorization
form from the borrower dated within the past 30 days. (Please
be advised that, if either your loan with Tax Ease or
your mortgage loan is 90 days or more past due, we may
be required by law to provide your mortgage lender with
a payoff statement.)
Can I defer payments?
Possibly. Please contact our Loan Servicing
department to discuss the specifics of your loan.

information on my loan from this web site?
